It has been a very special day to have the opportunity to be visited by the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, Natural Resources and Livestock Zanzibar H.E. SHAMATA SHAAME KHAMIS in our fields of bitter gourd and habanero chill to see for yourself the benefits and production of these crops to know the challenges and benefits of investing in the cultivation of bitter gourd and habanero
The aim of this visit is to learn about new investment opportunities in Tanzania, which are made by the natives without relying on foreign investors in which to bring change in the agricultural sector in Zanzibar, the minister’s words, “I am really surprised to see this investment fund in this Kalela agriculture and foreign markets being made by an investor from within, a native Tanzanian, I am completely surprised and I am very happy and I am convinced that there is still hope.

We also had the chance to be visited by the Chairperson of the Committee for Tourism, Business and Agriculture MH. MTUMWA PEYA YUSSUF Zanzibar council of representatives meeting the aim is to learn about local opportunities to expand a wide range of understanding about local investment and how to run those projects
She inspected the Bitter Gourd fields as well as the Habanero pepper fields, one of the crops cultivated by the Fresh Field Manyatta company and saw for himself the quality of those crops. those who attack those crops but also the great benefits they have in this cultivation of bitter gourd and habanero, many people have benefited, others have built houses, bought transport and others to educate children and the quality of life to grow
She also had the opportunity to know the challenges of exporting goods and foreign markets, various obstacles and fraudsters who use loopholes to pollute foreign markets and destroy trust, causing a lack of foreign markets. He was also told about the opportunities of foreign markets.
All these leaders were accompanied by representatives from the government of Zanzibar in order to see for themselves different opportunities and how to invest to increase opportunities within the sector of Agriculture
